Formerly a music producer and live/studio engineer, I now concentrate on progressive activism and writing a political column. My diverse background also includes co-founding a national non-profit health concern, United Federation of Orphan Disease Organizations, which sponsored medical conferences, treatment protocols, and testified for increased funding for the study of OD by the National Institutes of Health. Currently, am a member of the Principle's Project Communications Steering Committee, and a boardmember of the Tucson Area Literacy Coalition, a group which advocates for literacy services in Southwestern Arizona.

Began my political activities managing part of a campaign for an anti-war candidate in Massachussets during the 60's and have been a foot soldier in many campaigns since. I would like to to be involved at a policy and strategy level. Active in a liberal Christin church.

Ran unsuccsessfully for office on the Democratic ticket for the Montana Legislature. Aided other local candidates through my role on the local Democratic Central Committee. Assisted candidate during his unsuccsessful run for US Senate and later during his succsessful run for the Governorship of Montana.

I grew up in Sallisaw, OK, a small town on Oklahoma's eastern border with Arkansas. As a freshman at The University of Tulsa I ran for Senator of the Student Association for my residence hall and won. During the 2004 campaign season I volunteered for the Tom Adelson for Oklahoma State Senate campaign as well as the highly publicized Brad Carson for U.S. Senate campaign. While I would have been thrilled for an Oklahoma Democrat to claim a U.S. Senate seat, I believed strongly in the values, convictions and vision of Tom Adelson who was running for the State Senate seat. Therefore, I focused most of my energy on his campaign and despite the countless 527s against him, we won! I was also active in Young Democrats on campus during the election season, initiating a voter drive on election day. Because of my efforts on and off campus, I was elected President of TU Young Democrats in March 2005, becoming the first freshman at TU to hold the position.

I set up and ran the Idaho Gay and Lesbian Anti Violence Project from 1994-1999. I'm currently the coordinator for the Treasure Valley Family Kaleidoscope, a GLBT parents Advocacy/support group. I'm a Medical Technologist by day and an online activist in my sparetime.
